Wuhan Metro Group thoroughly implements the spirit of the 20th Party Congress, the 12th Provincial Party Congress and the 14th Municipal Party Congress, closely follows the strategic deployment of the Municipal Party Committee and the municipal government on creating a "city circle on the track" and "Wuhan on the track", adheres to the concept of "subway city is built by the people, urban subway is for the people", actively serves and integrates into the urban development strategy, and accelerates the construction of rail transit. Continue to improve the level of operation services, comprehensively strengthen the operation and development, deeply implement the reform measures of state-owned enterprises, vigorously explore the development ideas of "metro + property", "metro + industry" and "metro + capital", vigorously prevent the "three risks" of capital debt, quality safety and integrity, and promote the coordinated development of the "three carriages" of construction, operation and management. After years of development, the company has nearly 18,000 employees, total assets of more than 420 billion yuan, the main credit level of AAA, international rating agencies awarded "A/stable" long-term enterprise credit rating.

1️⃣Construction planning situation. Our city has been approved by the state for the fourth phase of rail transit construction planning, approved by the end of 2026 to form a total length of about 660 kilometers of rail transit network. The preliminary work for the preparation of the fifth phase of construction planning has been started, and the planning and approval of the Wuhan metropolitan area (suburb) project has been actively promoted simultaneously.

2️⃣Rail transit construction. Since 2012, 25 projects have been opened, and 12 lines are currently under construction, with an area of 162.5 kilometers under construction. In 2023, it plans to complete the investment of 40 billion yuan in urban construction, open 2 lines of Line 19 and Line 5 phase II, start 1 line of the new Xingang Line West extension line, and strive to start 1 urban (suburban) railway project.

3️⃣Rail transit operation. Wuhan Metro has always been adhering to the service concept of "know your worries, understand your needs", and is committed to providing citizens with safe, punctual, convenient and comfortable services. Currently, it operates 11 lines of rail transit line 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 11, 16 and Yangluo Line, with a total operating mileage of 460 kilometers and 291 stations, covering all urban areas. With all important transportation hubs to achieve seamless connection, passenger satisfaction for six consecutive years (2016-2021) to maintain about 96%, train map exchange rate and on-time rate are maintained at more than 99.9%, the operation indicators in the forefront of the country, "Smile service" brand was awarded by the Ministry of Transport "China Transport Leader brand".

4️⃣Operation of rail transit. "The track prospers because of the city, and the city prospers because of the track." The TOD urban development model based on public transportation such as rail transit is an important way to promote the "double upgrading" of urban energy level and quality. Adhering to the concept of TOD development, Wuhan Metro Group implements the coordinated development strategy of "construction, operation and management", combines rail transit construction with intensive use of rail transit engineering land to build a number of urban complexes.

5️⃣Land bank status. Based on the construction and development of rail transit, Wuhan Metro Group owns about 90,000 mu of various rich land resources in the urban area, among which some of the operational land in the core areas of the city has great investment value, such as Sanyang Road post office piece, Huangshi Road machine repair factory piece, Fo Zu Ling parking lot.

Wuhan rail transit network information cloud platform

From the perspective of the online network of Wuhan Metro Station, IT breaks the traditional construction mode, carries out the top-level design of the information system, proposes the concept of "Management command center scheme of the rail transit network based on the new IT architecture", and re-plans the Wuhan rail transit network center, reconstructs the information system of the line network, and re-designs the network network security. Coordinate the construction of Wuhan Metro big data center. The newly built Guobo production command Center and Optical Valley Cloud Platform Management Center have become the main line network control center of Wuhan Metro, meeting the centralized control of 32 lines, and building the Wuhan Rail transit line network information cloud platform based on the production system and using the cloud platform as a means to gather big data resources in real time and realize the intelligent application.

Intelligent system for subway operation safety

Based on a new generation of optical fiber sensing technology, the tunnel structure monitoring and safety evaluation system formed by cloud computing and big data analysis, It fills the technical gaps of external construction intrusion of urban rail transit, real-time online monitoring and evaluation of track bed structure/track structure/train axle status, provides solid technical support for safe and reliable operation and scientific maintenance of urban rail transit, and helps build an intelligent tunnel operation and maintenance mechanism with automatic disease identification, real-time positioning and timely treatment. Effectively improve the level of operational safety management.

BIM designs and builds underground transportation hubs

Located in Wuhan East Lake High-tech Zone, Wuhan Optics Valley Plaza Complex Project includes three subway station and section projects (South extension of Line 2, Line 9 and Line 11), two municipal tunnel projects (Luoyu Road and Lumo Road Municipal underpass tunnel) and an underground public space project designed by comprehensive utilization of the upper space of the tunnel. It is a comprehensive project integrating rail transit engineering, municipal engineering and underground public space, with a total construction area of about 160,000 square meters, which is currently the largest and most complex underground space project in the world. In the face of such a complex project, BIM model combined with various simulation software has successfully solved complex space, complex site, complex pipeline, complex construction and other problems, followed the application route of BIM in the ultra-large rail transit complex, and achieved good results. The application of BIM has also optimized the design of the Optical Valley complex. The construction provides strong technical support.
