On April 24th, the second Wuhan State-owned Assets and State-owned Enterprises Embrace High-tech Enterprises Conference and the State-owned Assets Innovation Ecosystem Application Exhibition were held in Wuhan. At this conference, over 400 people from state-owned enterprises in the urban area, central enterprises in Wuhan, universities and research institutes, and high-tech enterprises gathered together to jointly explore new opportunities, new fields and new models for the integrated development of state-owned assets and enterprises and private high-tech enterprises.

During the keynote speech session, Shao Bo, the general manager of Wuhan Institute of Industrial Technology Management Co., LTD., stated that the Wuchuangtong platform integrates and builds a full-chain service matrix to provide users with one-stop high-quality digital services for scientific and technological innovation. Zhang Haoran, the manager of the Solution Technology Department of Wuhan Chaoqing Digital Intelligence Technology Co., LTD., shared his insights on the new generation of AI intelligent computing network solutions. Kang Dan, the chief engineer of the Planning Division of Wuhan Municipal Engineering Design & Research Institute Co., LTD., elaborated on the practical application and future challenges of AI-empowered intelligent governance in resilient cities. Gong Xingxing, the general manager of Wuhan Urban Simulation Technology Co., LTD., conducted an in-depth analysis of the new ecosystem of urban governance empowered by AI. Wang Minghai, the general manager of Xinyunteng Technology Co., LTD., delivered a keynote speech on the open control system of the Internet of Things.
At the subsequent roundtable dialogue titled "Open High Ground · Collaborative Innovation - Exploration of Low-altitude Economic Integration", Huang Jianfei, a Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley and the director of the Shenzhen Lingkong Economic Research Institute, along with representatives from the Municipal Urban Investment Group, Urban Development Group, Urban Construction Group, high-tech enterprises, and industry experts, jointly discussed the development path of Wuhan's low-altitude economy.

In 2024, at the first Wuhan State-owned Assets and Enterprises Embrace High-tech Enterprises Conference, 11 state-owned enterprises in Wuhan signed agreements with 18 private high-tech enterprises. Wuhan Metro Group, as a representative among them, shared the development opportunities brought about by the mutual pursuit of state-owned enterprises and high-tech enterprises.
Zou Kai, the general manager of the Electromechanical Center of Wuhan Metro Operation Company, said that at the first conference, they released the technical requirements for anti-icing of Wuhan's rail transit catenary and successfully "joined hands" with the high-tech enterprise Wuhan Shuneng New Materials Co., LTD. After in-depth cooperation between the two sides, this technology has been piloted on Metro Line 19.
During the project promotion session, Hou Liping, the deputy general manager of the Technology Finance Department of Hankou Bank, delivered a keynote speech titled "Climb High and Innovate, Building a New Ecosystem of Deep Integration of 'Technology - Industry - Finance'", introducing the process by which financial enterprises support the innovative development of technology enterprises, feed back to industrial upgrading, and ultimately achieve high-quality economic development.

From the digital transformation of traditional industrial bases to the full-scale implementation of smart city construction, Wuhan is jointly building an innovation ecosystem with a development model of "state-owned capital leading and high-tech enterprises walking hand in hand", allowing innovative elements to flow freely within the urban fabric.

At the Second Wuhan State-owned Assets and Enterprises Embrace High-tech Enterprises Conference and the Exhibition of State-owned Assets Innovation Ecosystem Applications, 12 municipal state-owned enterprises including the Urban Investment Group, Urban Construction Group, Urban Development Group, Metro Group, Financial Holding Group, Investment Holding Group, Culture and Tourism Group, Agricultural Group, Public Transport Group, Talent Group, Hankou Bank, and Rural Commercial Bank 70 technical breakthrough demands will be released around city-level scenarios such as "Digital Metro", "Intelligent Bus", "Smart Gas", and "Smart Water", waiting for high-tech enterprises to take on the challenges on the spot.

On that day, state-owned enterprises such as Wuhan City Investment Urban Renewal and Development Co., LTD., Wuhan Hanshui High-tech Co., LTD., Wuhan Optics Valley Urban Renewal and Development Co., LTD., Wuhan Urban Construction Group Intelligent New Materials Co., LTD., Wuhan Wuchang Holding Group, and China Telecom Wuhan Branch signed 22 technical cooperation agreements with high-tech enterprises.

After the signing ceremony, a relevant person in charge of Xuri Lantian (Wuhan) Technology Co., Ltd. stated that many city-level scenarios of state-owned enterprises require the empowerment of artificial intelligence. Through this conference, the company has obtained more industry demand information, which is conducive to further developing related technologies to match application scenarios and achieving the deep integration of the innovation chain and the industrial chain.
Nowadays, an innovative path is accelerating its formation in Wuhan, where state-owned enterprises "set the questions", high-tech enterprises "take the lead", scientific and technological innovation communities "answer the questions", and ultimately "verify the questions" in market applications.
