Wuhan Energy Group released the technical requirements for the development of a third-party construction monitoring system and an all-weather construction monitoring system, which will realize intelligent monitoring of gas pipeline construction damage.

In addition to municipal state-owned enterprises, central enterprises such as China Mobile and China Telecom have also brought many technological achievements in smart cities to Hubei. China Mobile showcased a three-dimensional service system for low-altitude economy, promoting the large-scale and precise application of unmanned inspection and other scenarios. China Telecom presented the Beidou networked intelligent inspection technology, which aims to solve problems such as low inspection efficiency and difficulty in discovering hidden dangers. Moreover, as a representative of district-owned enterprises, Shouyi Science and Technology Investment displayed the domestically independently developed Shouyi RenDu dual-brain large model integrated machine, building an autonomous and controllable data intelligence system for government and enterprise users.
In addition, over 500 high-tech enterprises from across the country specializing in smart cities and intelligent construction brought hundreds of new technologies, products and applications. The content covered dozens of sub-sectors including large models, hydrogen energy, photovoltaic technology, green electricity, new materials and intelligent equipment, attracting many people to stop and watch.
Industry experts gather their wisdom to outline
The path to building an artificial intelligence city is clear
At the opening ceremony of the Smart City and Intelligent Construction Expo and the Smart City and Intelligent Construction Forum, experts and industry insiders jointly explored the theme of "Urban Evolution and Construction Revolution in the AI Era", discussing how artificial intelligence and urban construction can be deeply integrated to promote the quality leap of cities through digital intelligence empowerment.

Zhang Xiaochun, the Party Secretary and Chairman of Shenzhen Smart City Technology Development Group and a National Master of Engineering Investigation and Design, delivered a keynote speech titled "Exploration and Practice of Digital Twin City Construction", sharing the Shenzhen experience and cutting-edge thinking on promoting the construction of four pioneering cities - digital twin, ultra-fast broadband, artificial intelligence, and digital energy - with digital twin city construction at the core. Zhou Wenyi, an academician of the Russian Academy of Engineering and the executive director of the Northwest Low-altitude Economy Technology Research Institute, has been deeply involved in the low-altitude economy and related industries for many years. He believes that through the sharing of scientific and technological resources between universities and enterprises and collaborative innovation in science and technology, high-quality transformation of scientific and technological achievements in the low-altitude economy field can be promoted. Shi Qinghua, Vice President of Baidu, explained how large models can accelerate the innovation of intelligent construction and urban services. Huang Zhengdong, Vice Dean and Professor of the School of Architecture and Urban Planning at Shenzhen University, stated in his keynote speech that through digital transformation and development, urban governance can be modernized and refined, and various pain points and difficulties can be addressed. Xue Zhigang, an expert member of the Fifth Expert Committee of the Ministry of Transport (Postal Group), pointed out the direction for Wuhan to explore multi-scenario collaborative applications in the low-altitude industry through his speech.

On the afternoon of the 24th, the second Wuhan State-owned Assets and State-owned Enterprises Embracing High-tech Enterprises Conference was held concurrently with the sixth Smart City and Intelligent Transportation Expo. Through the "innovation conference + exhibition" model, a platform for exchanges and cooperation among municipal state-owned enterprises, central enterprises in Wuhan, private high-tech enterprises, research institutes, and think tanks was established to jointly create an innovative ecosystem.
During this Smart City and Smart Transportation Expo, more than ten industry forums and international exchange activities will also be held, including the Second Smart Energy Comprehensive Management and Application Technology Forum and the 2025 China Commercial Vehicle Safety Production and Insurance Risk Control Service Conference.
The smart industry is accelerating its implementation
Breaking through the "last mile" of technology transformation
The Double Smart Expo is not only a grand event showcasing technologies, but also an "accelerator" for the implementation of smart industries. This year's exhibition has integrated the entire chain from technology display to supply-demand matching and achievement transformation, injecting strong impetus into the fields of smart cities and intelligent construction in Wuhan.
In the demonstration area of the Beidou Transportation Application Theme Pavilion, a truck accelerated towards a dummy. Just before it was less than one meter away from the dummy, the vehicle suddenly braked automatically. This was a product demonstration of the Rhinoceros Vehicle Risk Control System by Zhuhai Magic Cube Intelligent Connectivity Technology Co., Ltd.

This system, relying on Beidou technology, can achieve functions such as one-click rescue for various vehicles, high-definition Beidou navigation, parking monitoring, and emergency braking. "It's very easy to install. The entire system costs only over 3,000 yuan and can avoid a large number of driving risks," said Song Ziyang, the sales director of the company. This product has very mature technology. Relying on the Double Smart Expo platform, it can help them precisely connect with industry enterprises, break through the "last mile" of technology transformation, and promote the development of the smart transportation industry.
It is learned that this exhibition also showcased advanced technological achievements such as high-precision positioning chips and smart transportation solutions. Participating enterprises conducted scenario-based connections with local enterprises in Hubei Province on "Beidou + intelligent construction" and "Beidou + smart cities", promoting technological complementarity and market resource sharing, and accelerating the large-scale application of Beidou technology in the Yangtze River Economic Belt.

At the Social Emergency Rescue Theme Pavilion, China Energy Engineering Group, China Railway No.11 Engineering Group, Wuhan Water Group, Chengli Automobile, Yunbao Rescue Team, Mine Rescue Team and Petrochemical Rescue Team brought a variety of emergency rescue vehicles and equipment. On the morning of the 24th, China Energy Engineering Group conducted an emergency rescue drill on site, which left the audience exclaiming, "In the era of artificial intelligence, emergency rescue is also full of wisdom."
When digital twins meet the banks of the Yangtze River, Wuhan is using "dual intelligence" as its brushstrokes to draw a brand-new blueprint for a future city, providing a "Wuhan model" for the digital transformation of cities. In the process of accelerating the establishment of an important strategic support point for the rise of the central region in Hubei Province, Wuhan is strengthening the "solid foundation" of the strategic support point with the "hard support" of scientific and technological innovation.
