On April 24th, the 7th Smart City and Intelligent Construction Industry Expo was grandly opened in Wuhan International Expo Center. With the theme of "Digital Smart Municipal Renewal and Empowerment", Wuhan Municipal Government College made a heavy appearance in booth B1-19, which focused on the latest achievements of the company in actively implementing the "165" development strategy of the city investment group company and the strategic transformation direction of "city investment+production investment", covering frontier explorations and breakthroughs in many fields such as digital smart products, project practice and policy demonstration, and fully presenting the hard core of empowering urban renewal with digital, green and intelligent technologies.

Entering the exhibition area, the interactive display system and visualization platform with full sense of science and technology complement each other, attracting many audiences to stop and experience. From the "digital twin" smart water plant, to the precise mapping of "integration of air and space", and then to the policy toolbox covering the whole chain of urban renewal, Wuhan Municipal Government is driving the evolution of cities with innovative engines and drawing a new blueprint for smart cities with scientific and technological pen and ink.

Create a "smart brain" for urban renewal infrastructure

In urban renewal, digitalization, greening and intelligentization of infrastructure are the keys to improve urban resilience and ensure operational safety. Focusing on key areas such as urban water system and transportation infrastructure, Wuhan Municipal Government College has built a full-scene intelligent management and control system covering "source-network-factory-station-bridge-tunnel", injecting "digital intelligence and kinetic energy" into urban renewal.

The platform adopts the structure of "one platform+three systems +N applications" to realize the intelligent management of the whole process of sewage plant. Build a three-dimensional digital twin model based on BIM+GIS, and click on the process unit to view the operation parameters and control status. The equipment module establishes a unique digital file to support the closed loop of health diagnosis and maintenance in the whole life cycle. Patrol combines online video patrol with offline mobile terminal, and combines expert knowledge base to significantly improve operation and maintenance efficiency.

Bridge 2 Liang Zhihui custody platform

Realizing "Zero Error" Monitoring by Multi-directional Cooperation

In view of the long-standing problems of bridge maintenance, such as "passive response, isolated information island, and empirical decision-making", this platform system integrates various monitoring methods to complement each other, realize real-time monitoring and early warning of bridge structure with "multi-orientation and zero error", and provide full-cycle intelligent maintenance services for bridge safe operation.

3 intelligent management and control platform for urban water supply plants

Intelligent tunnel operation and maintenance management platform

The platform of water supply plant also adopts the structure of "platform+system+application" to realize the intelligent management and control of the whole process from the source to the faucet. The tunnel platform focuses on the coordination of subsystems such as ventilation, lighting, fire protection and transportation to create a safe, efficient and energy-saving intelligent tunnel operation and maintenance system.

4 Smart Tunnel Operation and Maintenance Management Platform

Full-scene cooperation to ensure safe and efficient operation of tunnel 

Aiming at the pain points such as scattered tunnel subsystems and delayed emergency response, Wuhan Municipal Government Institute has built a smart tunnel operation and maintenance management platform. The platform integrates BIM+GIS digital twin technology to realize "one screen overview and one key linkage". Real-time monitoring of CO, VI, wind speed, lighting and other parameters, automatic control of ventilation and lighting, energy saving and consumption reduction. Video event detection and fire alarm system are integrated to automatically link traffic signals, broadcasts, fans and pumps when abnormal, and push emergency plans to the mobile terminal, which significantly improves emergency efficiency and operation management level.

At the exhibition site, Wuhan Municipal Government displayed 22 representative project cases through three interactive touch screens, covering urban renewal, ecological management, cultural and tourism integration, education and medical care and other fields, which fully reflected the company's full-process service capability from "planning" to "construction and operation". These cases are vivid answers to Wuhan Municipal Government's deep participation in urban renewal.

1 Policy demonstration class

From Toolbox to National Demonstration and Contribution to "Wuhan Plan"

Wuhan Municipal Government College systematically sorted out 14 core policy documents, integrated 67 policies in 11 subcategories of "five changes and four good" and "safeguard measures", innovated the mode of "policy+graphic illustration", formed 5 flowcharts and 9 mind maps, and realized "one map to understand, one map to understand and one map to master" and solved the policy blockage. The company took the lead in compiling the Technical Guidelines for Supporting Construction of Urban Renewal Municipal Roads and Upgrading of Old Pipe Networks in Wuhan to provide technical guidance; As the only technical support unit, it helped Wuhan to be ranked second in the country as a national urban renewal demonstration city in 2024, and supported Yichang to be successfully selected as a national demonstration city in 2025, highlighting the role of think tanks.
