At the opening ceremony and the main forum, the top think tanks clashed with everyone in the industry and blended their wisdom, drawing blueprints and directing pilots for the high-quality development of Shuangzhi industry. China Wuhan International Academician New Quality Innovation Center was officially launched.

Wu Zhiqiang, an academician of China Academy of Engineering, based on the background of Jiangcheng, analyzed Scene Innovation and Industrial Leap: Thinking on the Path of Wuhan Intelligent Planning; Yang Chun, an academician of China Academy of Engineering, interprets "Hydrogen Energy and Deep Large-scale Hydrogen Storage" to help green and low-carbon sustainable development; Liu Quansheng, an academician of China Academy of Engineering, shared the "Research Progress of TBM Safe, Efficient and Intelligent Tunneling Technology for Deep and Long Tunnels", showing the strength of China's intelligent hard core construction; Yuan Yunbin, a researcher at China Academy of Sciences, explained the broad prospects of Beidou system for urban renewal and empowerment with the book "Application and Prospect of Beidou /GNSS Empowering Smart City Construction", focusing on emerging technologies to empower urban construction, bringing international frontier insights. In this theme pavilion of intelligent construction and urban renewal, the Municipal Housing and Urban Renewal Bureau and the Capital Construction Bureau show policy tools and benchmarking cases on the spot; Industrial and Commercial Bank, Agricultural Bank, Rural Commercial Bank, Hankou Bank and other financial institutions share diversified financing services; City Investment Group, Urban Construction Group, Metro Group, Chengfa Group, China Construction International, China Communications First Public Bureau and other industry leaders gathered to discuss cooperation paths.

During the observation experience, the audience can not only intuitively understand the planning concept and practical achievements of urban renewal, but also feel the quality charm of urban renewal and the warm experience of technological empowerment.

The low-altitude economic theme pavilion made a stunning appearance and numerous circles. More than 50 leading enterprises such as Tucki Huitian and Yihang Technology concentrated on displaying cutting-edge equipment such as eVTOL and flying cars. Tucki Huitian "land carrier" realizes seamless land-air switching, Yihang unmanned manned aircraft outlines a new paradigm of low-altitude travel in the future, and there is a long queue in front of the VR experience cabin, so the audience can immerse themselves in unlocking the infinite possibilities of low-altitude economy. On the eve of the exhibition, the "Wuhan Low-altitude Night" light and shadow show lit up the night sky in Jiangcheng with 2,026 drones and painted a bright skyline.

The highlights of the three theme pavilions, Smart Energy Carbon, Beidou Application and Urban Smart Media Ecology, are one after another: Korean hydrogen energy enterprises organized a delegation to the exhibition; 160 Beidou alliance units made a stunning appearance with high-precision chips; City Smart Media Theme Pavilion promotes the transformation and upgrading of advertising industry to new digital infrastructure. The six exhibition halls are linked together to create a digital feast with a sense of science and technology and a sense of the future.

Open and inclusive, win-win cooperation. The internationalization level of this Expo has reached a new high, and Sino-foreign cooperation has been upgraded from "screen dialogue" to walking hand in hand and dancing on the same stage. On the opening day, three international exchange activities, namely, 2026 China Beidou Transportation Industry Seminar, Indonesian Buyers' Global Tour and 2026 World Hydrogen Energy Cooperation and Exchange Conference, started simultaneously. At the 2026 World Hydrogen Energy Cooperation Conference, Hungarian Ministry of Energy officials delivered a video speech, and the leading hydrogen energy enterprises in China and South Korea accurately docked on the spot. Nine Korean head hydrogen energy enterprises participated in the exhibition with international cutting-edge technical equipment such as high-efficiency ammonia hydrogen production system, full range of fuel cells and high-pressure resistant pipe valves.

Beidou Application Theme Pavilion will build a 10,000-square-meter full-scene ecological exhibition area, and 160 member units of Hubei Beidou Industry Alliance will make a concentrated appearance, covering Beidou transportation, security, fire protection and supporting AI, robots and other fields. Innovation in the field of digital content broke, and this year's Expo jointly held the 2026 Wuhan AI short play eco-industry conference for the first time. Enterprises from Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen participated in the exhibition with AI big model and intelligent content generation technology, and displayed innovative achievements such as OPC one-man company and OpenClaw on the spot, sharing explosion cases and commercial realization paths.

With the core of "new advertising infrastructure and new kinetic energy of the city", the newly unveiled Urban Smart Media Ecological Theme Pavilion promotes the deep integration of AIGC, intelligent delivery and other technologies with national-level scenes, and the frontier forms such as OPC, OpenClaw and embodied intelligence are concentrated on the stage, providing a system solution that can be landed, replicated and popularized for the development of the industry.

At the 3rd Wuhan State-owned and State-owned Enterprises Embracing High-tech Enterprises Conference, 12 municipal state-owned enterprises released 116 application scenario requirements, which were accurately connected with Chinese and foreign high-tech enterprises, and 22 groups of projects were signed on the spot, covering key areas such as industrial investment and technology research and development, and building an innovative ecology led by state-owned assets and coordinated by China and foreign countries. The 2026 Wuhan AI Short Play Eco-industry Conference focuses on the deep integration of AI and digital content, creating a complete closed loop from technology display to achievement signing, and activating the new track of digital economy.
